The newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sunyani Municipality, Hon. Vincent Antwi Agyei, has officially begun his tenure with a staff durbar. The durbar was, held on Thursday, April 17^th 2025 at the VAG Hall sunyani, aimed to establish a foundation for united and focused leadership to drive the municipality's development.

Hon. Antwi Agyei reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with staff, fostering a collaborative work environment built on respect and shared responsibility. He pledged to be a hands-on leader, working alongside department heads and officers to ensure effective service delivery.

The MCE expressed his intention to work closely with relevant stakeholders and government agencies to bring lasting improvements to the lives of the people. He also plans to tour all communities in the municipality to gain firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by residents and identify solutions.

The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Isaac Brown Ankomah, assured the MCE of the support of all staff members and their readiness to work diligently towards the municipality's development.

The MCE was accompanied by notable dignitaries, including, Hon. Seid Mubarak, Member of Parliament for Sunyani East, Mr. Stephen Kwame Adu, Constituency Chairman for the NDC and Mr. Francis Attah Kusi, Constituency Secretary.

This meeting marks the beginning of Hon. Antwi Agyei's tenure as MCE, setting the stage for collaborative leadership and development initiatives in Sunyani Municipality.
