Mr. Kwasi Ameyaw-Kyeremeh, Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani East constituency, accompanied by Mr. Ansu Kumi, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sunyani, has inspected progress of work on the construction of a multi-purpose durbar grounds at Abesim in the Sunyani municipality of the Bono Region of Ghana.

The projects include, a 3,500 capacity durbar grounds with washrooms, restaurant, conference hall pavements and recreational facilities. Accompanied by Nananom, some NPP party executives and the media, the MP and MCE also inspected a pitch under construction.

In an engagement with the media after the inspection, Mr Ameyaw Kyeremeh said the project is under government’s one-million dollar per constituency project and is expected to be completed within six months. He added that, work on the pitch which includes football, basketball and volley ball courts with sanitary facilities and fencing is expected to be completed and handed over by February 2025.

Mr. Ansu Kumi on his part commended the MP and vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for their efforts in securing the projects for the people of Abesim and its environs. He said that, a market has been completed and would soon be handed over to the community.

He entreated the people to vote to retain the NPP in power for the socio-economic development of the area.
